However, I have been very aware of all of this for some time. Perhaps someone else will learn something from it.
I just wish I could figure out how I was getting 27+ miles per gallon out of my Z32 with mark leader gears, all while 'dicking' with my AFCs low-throttle maps.
NONE of this explains why ASHs ECUs are kicking cars back. Or their owners dumping his ECUs for JWTs. If ash is NOT adjusting low speed drivability maps, such as TIMING or A/F ratio, then how is it that these cars are running much better with out? (and trust me, DVDburn has been the only one to come public... i've recieve a few emails from quite a few others asking my opinion of Ashs ECUs and what they should do.)
:WOT it will not. It takes time to self correct of course. I did this during my emissions testing just to pass. Right before testing I set it a little rich so I will pass the NOX readings because I have disabled my EGR. It has worked twice for me using this method. At the emissions testing they never go WOT or take it above 4000 rpm. The AFC has throttle percentage setting too.
